DESCRIPTION
Based on a classic Danner design from the 1980’s, the new Jag Low is a lightweight alternative to their classic, heavier duty hiking boots with a lower, shoe cut.

Re-introduced as a more versatile iteration of its former self the Jag is comfortable whether out on the trail or hiking around town. Featuring a mix of durable and lightweight materials, a cushioned EVA midsole and a waffle outside that can adapt to a variety of trail types.
On the top you have a Suede leather and abrasion-resistant nylon to create an aesthetically pleasing but super durable upper. Inside there’s a mesh lining to prioritise breathability and a lighter weight shoe.
Customise the look with either of the supplied lace colours, whilst issued that the removable, multi layer supportive footbed and EVA midsole are taking care of your comfort. The waffle outsole is a nod to the Jag’s retro roots, looking great on the trails or pavement. Designed for versatility, the Jag Low has a lower, shoe profile for everyday wear. Whether on the trail or urban exploring, this last was built to offer enough room for comfort while maintaining a sleek profile. Ortholite footbed included.

PROVENANCE AND ETHICS
Charles Danner opened the doors of Danner Shoe Mfg. Company in the old logging town of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, with twelve employees to build affordable, handcrafted work boots. In the 1960’s they recognised the cultural shift towards activities in the outdoors like hiking, backpacking and mountain climbing becoming America’s only domestic manufacturer of walking boots.
Building on nearly a century of traditions and high standards of quality originally instilled by their founder, Danner continue to design and manufacture a complete line of hiking, hunting, uniform, work and lifestyle boots in their world-class factory in Portland, Oregon, USA.
