Soft, flannel plaid paired with an impossibly plush sherpa fleece - the Flannel Sherpa is probably the cosiest fleece blanket that Rumpl make. On one side is a 100% cotton flannel face and on the other side an incredibly soft and durable sherpa fleece, made from 100% recycled materials and that stays soft even after washing. The recycled material has diverted at least 58 plastic bottles from landfill.
Includes carry straps to let you roll up the blanket and take it with you, or when it's not in use (which won't be often) makes it easier to store. While these blankets aren’t temperature rated, they should keep you plenty warm in 7ºc and above - a DWR (Durable Water Repellant) coating on the flannel side will also help keep off a little moisture or rain when used outside.

PROVENANCE & ETHICS
Born out of a Californian ski trip when a sudden over night subzero temperature and a car that wouldn’t start forced the founders to bundle up in their sleeping bags and wait out the night. Conversation turned to the subject of bedding. Cozy and warm in their sleeping bags, the two acknowledged how much better the materials felt and performed than what was on their beds back home.
Returning from the trip and borrowing a sewing machine, the first Rumpl “Puffy” blankets were hand sewn in a cramped San Francisco apartment. Via a Kickstarter that was funded in less that 24 hours, they realised that others wanted more from an everyday blanket - and now the company use only 100% post-consumer recycled materials, recycling over 5 million discarded plastic bottles through their supply chain every year. They’re a proud member of 1% For The Planet, which means they donate 1% of all revenue to environmental non-profits are certified Climate Neutral. In March 2021, Rumpl officially became a certified B Corporation.
