A backpack for city use from Arc’teryx, with advanced weather protection and smart organisation.
The Granville 20 Backpack is at the point where a utilitarian messenger bag and refined urban backpack come together - Highly water resistant AC² (Advanced Composite Construction) technology shields contents from rain and snow. The large main compartment is accessed by a custom Arc'teryx one-handed release buckle and protected by a fold over cover. A padded sleeve secures a 15 inch laptop and organises documents, and a stretch mesh zippered pocket stores chargers and cables. Pockets under the flap hold wallet or smartphone, and a clip-in point secures a bike light.

PROVENANCE AND ETHICS
Originally founded as Rock Solid Manufacturing by David Lane in 1981, In 1990 Lane brought Jeremy Guard, a fellow climber, into the fold and in 1991 they renamed the company Arc’teryx - a nod to the Archaeopteryx lithographica, the first reptile to develop feathers for flight - the first bird - and the brand’s instantly recognisable logo is a depiction of the Berlin specimen of the Archaeopteryx. Their philosophy is guided by the belief that durability is the strongest path to sustainability.
