M's Recycled Wool Bomber Jacket - Bristle Brown

The Recycled Wool Bomber Jacket has the clean, contemporary look of a classic bomber, paired with Patagonia’s exceptional build quality and durably warm insulation to keep you warm and comfortable in a range of conditions. Made of a soft recycled fabric blend of 60% recycled wool, 30% recycled polyester and 10% recycled nylon with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish to help the jacket shed rain.
The insulation is a warm 60-g Thermogreen polyester throughout the body and 40-g Thermogreen polyester, both 92% recycled, in the sleeves - allowing for a perfect all over balance. Considered details like a polyester ripstop lining that wicks moisture and allows the jacket to glide smoothly over layers for no-snag mobility, zippered hand warmer pockets and a media-compatible interior zippered pocket to hold the daily essentials. The narrow collar is designed to fit nicely with a rain shell if the weather turns really nasty on you.

PROVENANCE AND ETHICS
Patagonia was founded by Yvon Chouinard in 1973, the company's roots are in clothing for rock and alpine climbing, but they now produce a diverse mix of apparel targeted towards skiers, snowboarders, surfers and climbers. Patagonia are a world leader in creating ethical, sustainable clothing.
Recycled Wool: One of the ways Patagonia work to lessen the impact of wool production in their products is to recycle used wool - a practice dating back hundreds of years and actively diverting waste from landfill. Aided by modern-day quality controls, wool fibres are sorted into colour categories prior to use, helping to eliminate the dyeing process, saving water and chemicals and eliminating the resulting wastewater.
