The latest development of the Kånken family, a backpack made from bio-based material sized perfectly for everyday use and shorter outings.
With the Tree-Kånken, Fjällräven have explored alternatives to fossil-based raw materials and come up with a material made from Pine Weave, a unique fabric produced using more sustainable methods from certified Swedish trees grown close to Fjällräven’s hometown of Örnsköldsvik.
The material is waxed, giving it a natural melange effect. Combining the simplicity of classic Kånken with carefully modified details that give Tree-Kånken its own identity: a reflective logo, flat vertical front pocket and an additional strap for fastening gear underneath. Includes the trademark Kånken seat pad in the internal storage compartment.
