DESCRIPTION

A super agile and supportive GORE-TEX shoe from Arc'teryx - perfect for day hikes on technical trails. Inspired by trail running footwear, the Aerios FL 2 GTX delivers confidence, comfort, and support for fast and light hikes on shifting terrain.

The flexible upper of these are made from a durable – and 100% recycled – polyester mesh, the lacing system wraps the foot for a natural, comfortable fit, and raised perimeter sidewalls add protection. They have a Vibram® Megagrip outsole, compressed EVA midsole, and integrated TPU shank deliver grip and stability under foot. GORE-TEX provides waterproof protection, and the clean design combines performance with a streamlined aesthetic.

            PROVENANCE AND ETHICS

            Originally founded as Rock Solid Manufacturing by David Lane in 1981, In 1990 Lane brought Jeremy Guard, a fellow climber, into the fold and in 1991 they renamed the company Arc’teryx - a nod to the Archaeopteryx lithographica, the first reptile to develop feathers for flight - the first bird - and the brand’s instantly recognisable logo is a depiction of the Berlin specimen of the Archaeopteryx. Their philosophy is guided by the belief that durability is the strongest path to sustainability.
