DESCRIPTION
Warm and highly water-resistant, Patagonia's Waxed Cotton Jacket is made of 100% Cotton in Conversion — a special class of cotton which supports farmers working toward organic certification. Treated with Halley Stevensons EverWax™ Olive, a plant-based wax derived from food industry waste. Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory.
The three-panel hood adjusts with a drawcord for a secure, customised fit, while the two-way, centre-front zipper has a covered placket that secures with a hidden snap closure to keep out the elements. Two zippered chest pockets also have covered plackets that secure with a snap closure, and an internal, zippered chest pocket keeps your valuables secure. Adjustable cuffs with snap-tab closures and a drawcord hem help hold your warmth in and lock out the chill
Please note: as with all waxed fabrics, the traditional method of manufacturing waxed cotton fabric means an oily residue can transfer onto other materials. To prevent this, we recommend avoiding prolonged contact with other light-coloured fabrics, especially in warmer conditions.
