From Danner, this Boot Dressing is perfect for reconditioning any of their smooth finish leathers.
Danner Boot Dressing is the key to maintaining the quality of your Danner boots - formulated to keep smooth leather of any colour and stop it from drying and cracking, and should be used whenever you get back from putting your boots through some hard use. Can also be used to help soften leather when breaking in new boots.
The compound is water resistant, allowing for breathability which is particularly important for GORE-TEX boots as the waterproof membrane needs to be able to breathe through the leather to work most efficiently.
For use on full-grain leather only. If your boots are made of nubuck, suede or rough-out leather - instead of this dressing we’d recommend using their Waterproofing Spray.

PROVENANCE AND ETHICS
Charles Danner opened the doors of Danner Shoe Mfg. Company in the old logging town of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, with twelve employees to build affordable, handcrafted work boots. In the 1960’s they recognised the cultural shift towards activities in the outdoors like hiking, backpacking and mountain climbing becoming America’s only domestic manufacturer of walking boots.
