DESCRIPTION

Fjällräven's waterproof and knee-length parka, made in their G-1000® fabric with PrimaLoft® insulation, ideal for cold, wet weather. Lined with a fully waterproof Hydratic membrane, the Kiruna Hydratic Padded Parka for women is designed to keep you dry and comfortable through cold, wet conditions.

The durable G-1000® outer fabric resists wind and wear, while lightweight PrimaLoft® insulation in recycled polyester for warmth even when damp. The knee-length cut offers extra coverage, and the updated hood with a protective brim adds shelter from wind and rain. Perfect for everyday winter use or weekend strolls in unpredictable weather.

PROVENANCE AND ETHICS  

The story behind Fjällräven began in 1950 when Åke Nordin, a 14-year-old boy from Örnsköldsvik in Northern Sweden, was about to go for a trek in the mountains. Åke, who spent more time outdoors than indoors, did not like the backpacks that were available at that time. He decided to take matters into his own hands and built a wooden pack frame. To this day Fjällräven stays true to Åke's vision of offering functional equipment for journeys in the outdoors. Fjällräven develop environmentally friendly fabrics and co-operate with partners to improve the environment and support biodiversity.
