DESCRIPTION
The Nano-Air Hoody was made by Patagonia to be worn for the entirety of your alpine missions, whether moving or stop-starting you’ll never be slowed down by changing layers. Warm, stretchy and breathable FullRange insulation dumps excess heat when you’re working hard and keeps you warm when you’re not. Fair Trade Certified™ sewn.
The 100% polyester (87% recycled) plain-weave shell and lining fabric offers generous mechanical stretch, exceptional breathability and improved abrasion resistance. Inside there's a microtexture for excellent next-to-skin comfort and on the exterior it features a PFC-free DWR finish (durable water repellent coating that does not contain perfluorinated chemicals) that sheds water.
Revolutionary 60-g FullRange® 100% polyester (40% recycled) insulation warms and stretches and, combined with the shell and lining, supplies outstanding mechanical stretch and unprecedented air permeability (40CFM), allowing excess heat to move away from the body. Stretch fabrics and insulation, articulated patterning and strategically placed, low-profile quilting provide exceptional range of motion for unhindered movement. Two handwarmer pockets and a left-chest pocket are zippered, low-profile and low-bulk to wear comfortably with a harness or a pack. The whole jacket also self-stuffs into left-chest pocket for keeping with you on the go.

PROVENANCE AND ETHICS
Patagonia was founded by Yvon Chouinard in 1973, the company's roots are in clothing for rock and alpine climbing, but they now produce a diverse mix of apparel targeted towards skiers, snowboarders, surfers and climbers. Patagonia are a world leader in creating ethical, sustainable clothing.
Recycled Polyester - In 1993, Patagonia adopted fleece into their product line made from post consumer recycled (PCR) plastic soda bottles making them the first outdoor clothing manufacturer to do so. PCR® clothing was a positive step towards a more sustainable system – one that uses fewer resources, discards less and better protects people’s health. Using recycled polyester lessens dependence on petroleum as a raw material source, curbs discards and reduces toxic emissions from incinerators.
Fair Trade Certified - Patagonia pay a premium for every Fair Trade Certified item that carries their label. That extra money goes directly to the workers at the factory, and they decide how to spend it, along with programs that promote worker health and safety and social and environmental compliance, and encourages dialogue between workers and management.
